Mehserle trial not going well, at all, for the prosecution.  Motion in limine on lesser included offenses granted; therefore, the jury has to find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of murder.  No way given testimony of prosecution expert, and Oscar Grant's co-horts that burden can be met.
This means Oakland will explode next week, probably Monday, sure as Katrina taking dead aim at New Orleans or the inexorable crush of oil along the the gulf coast.  Office will be closed.  Landlord warned to board up windows.  Only bad will come of this; a DA politically motivated to press max charge will Fail with spectacular consequences.  Maybe Anderson Cooper will come and get his head banged.  Cold comfort.

WRONG:  JUDGE THREW OUT MURDER 1, AND JURY WILL BE INSTRUCTED ON SECOND DEGREE, VOL/INVOL MS.  HOPE FOR OAKTOWN.

Sunday, Father's day
CT class:
Burpees 3 push-ups to suitcase deads, 24kg.
A revelation:  burpees to 24kg suitcase deads popped the disk at L4/L5l like stomping on a toothpaste tube in May 2007.  No rom=daily lifetime reminder.
Fast forward.  Had not done this since and was fine.  ROM clearly vastly improved and look forward to many many sets of this drill.
Buncha other stuff would not have done otherwise.  CT rocks.
Ice cream and BBQ in that order.
Today, five miles, 30 minutes, buncha gtg on bu stuff, side planks and headstands; some crow.  Feeling beastly and looking forward to tomorrow.
But not Monday.
