Local Theater

Hoping Ian bites.  Scene in Ross redwoods Saturday evening, waiting for curtain on Porchlight Theater's production of Les Liasiasons Dangereuses.  Ian is the Assistant Stage Manager and his mother is putting her nine years of higher education (BS, MS summa cum laude, JD cum laude) to use as the wardrobe mistress.  It's summer and that means Local Theater which means everyone is extremely busy, if effectively unemployed.
Sigh.
Brigid is deep into MST, coming home every night dipped in black paint, crowing about being hoisted up in a harness to secure and paint this or that.  I pick her up and the cast members are spilling out, singing in the waning light.  It is great.  She wanted to bail on Porchlight, but loved it.
That Local Theater is far better than the drama the neighbors dish out four nights a week.  Their default is loud and that turns to yell in an instant.  Two baffled parents unable to control their teenage daughter, a mean skinny boy-crazed girl hell bent on using her considerable and improving ability to make other family members miserable to maximum effect.
There but for the grace of God go I.

20 walking lunge, 35lb dumbbells

then 20 more pushups to bring it to 80 total.
30/30 24kg swings, 20 x10.

4-6  1+1 snatch/windmill/tgu combo with 45lb oly bar
6-10, just blast 'em out
Saturday, three miles walk after World Cup veg session.
Sunday.  Supposed to be in Pride parade with dog and Barry, but Rose is gimpy and since I am purportedly the adult in the relationship I make the call to cancel.  It is ninety two in the shade and I am ready to shit can any hope of a workout after bailing on CT's class, the thought of Pride traffic providing the lame excuse.  Scroll through Facebook and see Coach Dos exorting his adoring legions to DO WORK, and I ain't gonna not do it.  Yes, now, so:
